Contemporary New Zealand Painting and Sculpture [1960]

Over the past years we have had three exhibitions of eight New Zealand painters which were retrospective in character and were intended to make work of serious New Zealand painters better known throughout the country. To some extent this present exhibition is a summing up of those three exhibitions but consists entirely of work done during the last two years. It also includes artists not previosuly represented.
